Banned Together
Ashley Hope Pérez
This is now one of my favorite books and definitely one of my favorite nonfiction books. It explains what book banning is, why it’s currently bad and getting worse, and what to do about it. It addresses book banning and explains some of the ridiculous reasons why books have been banned. It is written by authors whose books have been banned. This book is filled with book recommendations and resources. This book also gives tips on how to help stop book banning in your community and explains what the world loses when a book is banned. This book is so amazing and is definitely a must-have in every place in the world. I would recommend this book to everyone who loves and cares about books.

Beckoning Fates
TurtleMe
I loved how, even though Aurthor is super strong, he still has to get even stronger if he wants to protect himself and those he loves. This is because on a field trip to a dungeon while in Xyrus academy, he falls into the lower regions coming across one of the 6 strongest people in his continent who was currently dying. This just shows how much more he had to grow if he wanted to stop the Retainer, from another continent, who killed a Lance

Dinosaur Planet
Anne McCaffrey
It's certainly not the worst book I've ever read, but I don't know why everyone praises McCaffrey so much if this is her normal writing.

Sunrise On The Reaping (a Hunger Games Novel)
Suzanne Collins
I simply cannnot explain how good this book is!! The way that Susanne Collin’s ties in parts from the other 4 books is amazing!!! It kind of made me want to cry. Is that bad? The way that president snow killed Lenore dove is horrible in a twisted intelligent way. Again is it bad that I understand that? The rest of the book I fell immune to but what really got me was the epilogue. The way that he saw Kathi’s grow up and how she was really the one that stopped the sunrise on the reaping. But what really got me was the last line was when he remembered his now dead brother saying happy birthday on the reaping day. I can not even explain how this made me feel.

New Heights
TurtleMe
New Heights picks up right where the first book left off and shows Arthur training hard to become stronger in a world full of magic and danger. The action scenes are awesome, and we get to see Arthur level up his powers in some really cool ways. What I liked most is that the book isn’t just about fighting—it also shows Arthur trying to protect his family and figure out who he wants to be. Even though he has crazy powers, he still struggles with things like responsibility and growing up. If you like fantasy with magic, battles, and character growth, New Heights is a great read. I liked it even more than the first book.

Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix
J. K. Rowling
I like the book because of the way Harry Potter going on the adventure to kill Lord Voldemort (I think), and also because of the adventure, mystery, and fantasy.

The Berry Pickers
Amanda Peters
Wonderful story of a Mi'kmaq family from Nova Scotia who go to Maine each summer to pick blueberries and their youngest daughter goes missing. This event follows the lives of the rest of the family and how they coped with the loss and always kept hope in finding Ruthie. Excellent character development and the writing style is compelling, A 5 star for me!
